Alberta Genealogical Society


Membership in the Society is open to any person, wherever resident. Our membership year is from January 1 to December 31. Membership paid after September 30 will be applied to the next year unless the current year is requested.

Membership rates are shown on the Membership Form (pdf file).

Benefits of membership include:

  • "Relatively Speaking", a quarterly publication that contains articles on various subjects: genealogical research in Canada and abroad, methods and sources of research, interesting and often amusing stories, individual researchers' experiences, new library acquisitions, book reviews, members' interests, and queries from those seeking help in specific areas. It is an excellent means by which members may exchange information.
  • Workshops to further education in the field of genealogy.
